About the Author
Inspired by his children,
Lyla and Jacob, and his own
son’s experience with sensory
overload, Josue Gomez writes
stories that celebrate neurodiversity,
teamwork, and the beauty of different minds. A proud Marine Corps veteran and devoted homemaker from Montgomery, Texas, Josue blends discipline, creativity, and heart into every page he writes. His debut children’s book, When The World Gets Loud… We Get Louder!, encourages kids to embrace their unique strengths and see challenges as opportunities for growth. Supported by his wife Melissa, a dedicated nurse, Josue turns everyday family moments into superhero adventures. When he’s not writing, he sketches new ideas and inspires young readers to find, and follow, their own rhythm.
